Mariel is a Manager at Innosight. She enjoys applying her unique background in strategy execution and athletic coaching to help companies define their future strategic goals and develop an execution plan to make change happen.

At Innosight, Mariel has worked in the automobile, healthcare, and energy industries. Her project work has been diverse, including developing a strategy and transformation plan for one of our country’s most recognizable brands, reinventing a portfolio management approach around Big Data, and building innovation capabilities for a world-leading energy company.

Prior to joining Innosight, Mariel was a Consultant and Engagement Manager at Palladium Group, where she worked on strategy design and execution efforts for healthcare, military, government, and higher education organizations. She also served as a formal mentor entrusted to develop Associates and actively contributed to the development of new IP related to organizational effectiveness and culture transformation.

Before her career in consulting, Mariel spent seven years as a Division I college soccer coach, specializing in goalkeepers. With stops at Northeastern, Harvard, Utah, and perennial Big Ten Champion Penn State, Mariel coached a Rookie of the Year as well as a three-time All-American, who is currently on the Women’s National Team.

Mariel received an MBA in Strategic Leadership from the Smeal College of Business at Pennsylvania State and earned a BS in Finance from Northeastern University, where she was the soccer team’s starting goalkeeper. She is a passionate triathlete, skier, cyclist.
