Josh is a Managing Director at Innosight where he leads our Life Sciences and Medical Technologies group. Much of his work focuses on partnering with leadership teams to transform their organizations in response to disruptive change, with a focus on identifying high-potential growth opportunities, accelerating the development of promising emerging technologies, and guiding the creation of new business models.

Josh is an accomplished teacher and lecturer, having led dozens of client workshops and keynoted innovation conferences around the world. His publications include the award-winning book Lead from the Future: How to Turn Visionary Thinking Into Breakthrough Growth, the Harvard Business Review article “How to Jump-Start the Clean-Tech Economy,” and several pieces on the need and opportunity for business model change in association with the emergence of cell and gene therapies.

Before joining Innosight in 2005, Josh served as a research analyst covering emerging technologies in the alternative energy, clean technology, and sustainable development sectors. He has also worked as a researcher/writer for Let’s Go Travel Guides and as a research assistant for a think tank focused on Middle Eastern history and politics.

Josh holds an honors degree in English Literature from Harvard College.
