Prior to Innosight, Gordon worked as a strategist and product manager at various tech firms. At one of the most funded unicorn from Australia, he started with strategy roles to support strategic investments and fundraising. Then he spearheaded several new product strategies and eventually stepped into the product management arena to build out the visions. Gordon also had exposure to various industries via internships, such as innovation in consumer goods (Anheuser-Busch Inbev), PE investment in industrial and healthcare industries, and VC investment in blockchain.

Gordon graduated from the Yale School of Management with an MBA degree and received a BS degree from the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University.
