Edwin is an Associate at Innosight, where he helps companies understand innovation, design their future, and create sustainable growth. His perspective on strategy development is enriched by experience across diverse industries—including energy, industrial R&D, agriculture, education, and healthcare—which enables him to craft innovative strategies tailored to each client’s unique challenges.

Prior to joining Innosight, Edwin completed his graduate studies at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, conducting research on sustainable energy technologies, particularly end-of-life electric vehicle lithium-ion battery recycling. Sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy’s Critical Materials Innovation Hub, he developed economic recovery strategies for critical materials by integrating technology, business, and policy considerations. His expertise in sustainable energy and critical materials now informs his approach to strategy development at Innosight.

Edwin earned MS and PhD degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, specializing in Design & Manufacturing and Ecological Sciences & Engineering. He holds a BS with honors in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Mathematics from Calvin University in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Edwin feels most at home on the football (soccer) pitch, playing in local leagues and rooting for Chelsea F.C. He enjoys philosophy and literature, often drawing parallels between football strategies and life’s complexities.
