James is a Managing Director at Innosight, where he helps healthcare industry leaders develop innovative strategies and partnerships to create the next versions of themselves. He serves as a trusted strategic planning partner to healthcare CEOs and C-suites, including many members of the top 20 US hospitals (as ranked by US News and World Report). He has played a central role in some of the industry’s most innovative collaborations over the past 5 years, including the assessment and/or integration of payor-provider collaborations, provider-provider mergers, and other partnerships involving research organizations, ancillary care providers, and start-ups.

Prior to joining Innosight (and its parent organization, Huron Consulting Group), James held roles in hospital administration, medical research, and healthcare strategy and operations consulting.

James received a BS from Cornell University, where he was a fixture on the Dean’s list, and a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Yale University, where he graduated first in his class.
