Matt Brady is a Managing Director at Innosight, where he helps Fortune 500 companies confront one of the most urgent challenges in business: how to grow in the face of relentless disruption. He has led transformation efforts across multiple industries, from global automakers reimagining mobility to consumer goods reinventing their portfolios, but his deepest focus is in healthcare. As a leader in Innosight’s healthcare practice, Matt partners with providers, payers, and investors to shape the future of care delivery, access, affordability, and experience.
Prior to joining Innosight, Matt began his career at Booz Allen Hamilton, advising Department of Defense clients on strategic planning, acquisitions, and long-term capability development. He later stepped away from Innosight to help build and scale Alloy Partners (formerly High Alpha Innovation), a venture studio that launches startups in partnership with corporations, universities, and governments. As a general Manager at Alloy, Matt led teams that launched 30 startups and several pre-seed venture funds, each aimed at tackling complex societal and market challenges through entrepreneurial approaches.
Matt holds a B.A. in History and Political Science from the University of Notre Dame, with a concentration in Middle Eastern Studies. He earned his M.B.A. from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, where he was a Tauber Fellow focused on strategy and operations.
He lives just outside of Boston in Wellesley, Massachusetts, his hometown and what he considers the center of the universe. Outside of work, Matt can usually found with his wife and three children, landscaping, or clinging to his annual, if sometimes irrational, hope that this is the year Notre Dame football returns to glory.
