Most Memorable Innosight Moment

In 2009, I spent a total of six weeks in India, conducting primary market research for a client. Our work included consumer interviews with families across urban and rural India. During our research, family after family showed our team - complete strangers - unbelievable hospitality. Families who had very little means invited us into their homes, fed us, and often spent hours answering our questions. One of our stops included a visit to an orphanage, and once again, we were graciously received, despite the busy schedules and limited resources of those running the organization. I was truly amazed by the generosity and warmth we encountered across India, especially from those with so little. The project was not only a memorable experience, but an extremely meaningful one.
