OUR APPROACH

Innosight Institute is a non-profit think tank whose mission is to apply co-founder Clayton Christensen’s theories of disruptive innovation to develop and promote solutions to the most vexing problems in the social sector.

Founded in 2007, Innosight Institute conducts research in several areas of the social sector, including education and healthcare. The Institute also hosts conferences, publishes academic papers and online articles, and offers workshops to promote and explain its research and ideas.

Two books, Disrupting Class: How Disruptive Innovation Will Change the Way the World Learns (McGraw-Hill, 2008) and The Innovator’s Prescription: A Disruptive Solution to the Healthcare Crisis (McGraw-Hill, 2008) form the core of the Institute’s education and healthcare practices, respectively.
