Career Energy Source
Josh Suskewicz, Principal
"When I was in college, I thought a lot about how to make sure my career was devoted to something meaningful. I felt inspired by the promise of sustainable development and clean technology, and decided to spend my career focused on accelerating the transition to a clean economy. With that goal in mind, I was drawn to Innosight's mastery of the mechanics of innovation, as it seemed like the best place in the world to learn how to shape the development of new markets.
"Recently, I collaborated with Innosight co-founder Mark Johnson on an article on clean technology innovation. As part of our research, we met with Masdar in Abu Dhabi, a project to build a carbon-neutral city, and Better Place, a breakthrough electric car services company in Israel. I got to work with Mark to come up with a theory of market change, select the two companies that interested us most around the world, go meet with their senior management to explore what they were doing, and co-author an article that was published in the Harvard Business Review.
"I think that experience speaks volumes about the non-hierarchical approach at Innosight. The leadership has trust in the people here—it's a very supportive, values-driven culture and the work is both intellectually stimulating and meaningful."
