As an analyst, your primary role will be to contribute to the problem-solving and communication activities on our client engagement teams. You will be expected to work with a team to address the client's needs, fully owning an assigned analyses and workstreams with moderate direction and support.


As an associate, you will be an integral team member, contributing to the problem-solving and communication activities of our client engagement teams. You will be expected to fully own workstreams within a project and deliver with low direction and support, working closely with teammates to support developing recommendations for the client and may present these findings as client meetings.

Senior Associate

As a senior associate, your primary responsibility is to play a critical role in supporting the Manager and driving results on consulting projects. You will be expected to structure a work plan and storyline around a workstream, and drive results for that workstream.

As a Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day work on project teams. You will be expected to develop and execute detailed workplans, including leading problem structuring, analysis, and problem-solving. You will be required to manage up with the Principals and Partners, and to manage down with the junior team members. Also, you will have considerable exposure to the client and will be expected to lead / facilitate meetings with clients and your team. As a leader in the firm you will also be required to help develop the more junior consultants and serve as a mentor.

Experienced Hires

Experienced hiresInnosight looks for experienced professionals and top talent from a wide variety of professions, including finance, engineering, medicine, and other consulting experience. As a key member of the Innosight team, you will have the unique opportunity to operate in a collaborative, creative environment, focused on growth and innovation.

Candidates with undergraduate degrees may join as analysts or associates, depending on the extent of his/her experience. Candidates with PhDs and non-MBA graduate degrees are evaluated on a case by case basis. Candidates with extensive work experience and/or graduate degrees may join as associates or senior associates. For more senior roles, such as managers or principals, we look at your management experience in addition to your work and educational experience.

What can you expect from our hiring process? Candidates are considered on a rolling basis, based on our internal needs. If you are selected, a Recruiter will contact you to setup a phone screen. Lateral candidates typically go through two 45 minute phone screens where mutual interest and fit is assessed. Those who pass the bar will be invited to our office to meet 1:1 with 4 Consultants for 45 minutes each. Two Consultants will test you on Case questions and two will test you on Fit questions. After this final stage, you can expect to have an answer within 3-5 business days, barring unusual circumstances.



internshipsDuring the Winter, Innosight recruits from select campuses for interns. During your internship, you can expect mentorship and hands-on experience on a case team. We will provide consistent guidance and feedback. At the end of your internship, you will be reviewed for a full-time offer. If you are interested in an internship, please contact your campus' career services office.
