Dan is a Senior Associate at Innosight with prior experience at the intersection of cleantech, engineering and innovation. Prior to joining Innosight, Dan spent six months studying entrepreneurship and technology commercialization in Southeast Asia as a Kauffman Singapore scholar. In his previous position, he was a solar energy project manager and consultant where he worked with affordable housing development corporations to manage the financing and construction for some of the largest residential solar installations in New York State. Dan has developed software to analyze the efficiency of wind turbines in upstate NY locations and explored electrolytic degradation of Lithium ion batteries at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.
Dan is a LEED Accredited Professional and has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Environmental Engineering from the University of Rochester. During his time at the University of Rochester, Dan founded a biofuels program and associated campus organization which received an award from the Association of College Unions International for Excellence in Innovations in Sustainability.
